I’ll make this short and sweet. I’m currently having difficulty keeping a solid connection thanks to a combination of both of my internet provider’s awful customer support and awful hardware. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
Edit: I accidentally “broke” the site last night. It has now almost entirely been fixed, but the slider will need sorted as well. This will be rectified soon.
I realise that the blog has been inactive lately, so I understand I should comment. I will continue writing tomorrow. Life has been extremely busy these past couple of weeks, but most of the chaos is now out of the way. We will resume our regularly scheduled programming tomorrow. That is all.
I’d like to apologise for the recent slow down in publications on the Gaming Advance site. This is the result of a combination of now having an honours project to work on, as well as preparing to attend Eurogamer.
Things have been pretty hectic over at my end, and communication with Guru Meditation has been consequently severed temporarily due to our different working hours. Scheduling will return to normal once we have re-organised how to adapt to our new situation.
My own input will also gradually decrease for a short period of time, with Guru Meditation taking charge over news stories. As a university student, I have many more responsibilities including the blog — primarily, I have an honours project to work on. I will still post, but it will be less frequent. As an example, I still have a review for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron pending publication. Yikes! I’ll definitely have to publish that this week, that’s for sure.
It’s quite clear that there’s still a lot of work to be done, especially if you take a look at our videogames section. Come holiday time I’ll be sure to spend hours on end setting that up for everyone. I’ll also start up a couple of features I’ve been contemplating for a while, but only once I’ve organised myself better. However, I will be contributing previews from all my hands-on experiences with any titles I get the chance to try out at Eurogamer. I’ll do some digging and see what information I can uncover from the developers stationed there too.
Hopefully, things will return to normal soon, but please continue to visit us, even after I’ve published the previews. I’ve been working hard to try and keep everything together and establish this place, and I’d like to see it grow further. It’s something I’ve really enjoyed doing, and I don’t intend to quit or spoil it any time soon. I hope you understand.
