Developer Marvelous AQL announced three new videogames at Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show conference. All three titles will be available for PlayStation Vita.
Marvelous AQL proudly announced three titles to launch on the PlayStation Vita. Amongst them was Valhalla Knights 3, set to launch in 2013. VH3 is a sequel to both Valhalla Knights titles on the PlayStation Portable. Unfortunately, both titles were role-playing games that weren’t well received in the west, so let’s hope that this one does better.
Also announced by the developer was Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus. Senran Kagura is a series of side-scrolling, action videogames. The previous two titles were released for the 3DS, whilst a number of graphic novels launched in Japan to accompany the games. Shinovi Versus will be the first of the series to be released on another platform, and will be released on February 28th, 2013 for the PlayStation Vita. It is unlikely to be launched in the west, with the previous titles only seeing a release in Japan.
Marvelous AQL were not finished with that either, announcing a port for Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Originally released on the Wii, Muramasa is an side-scrolling, action, role-playing game that met great reception. Much like the other two titles, Muramasa will be launching for the Vita. It is scheduled for March 28th, 2013.
It’s nice to see the Vita getting some more support, but it looks like we’ll be waiting until 2013 for these games. Hopefully the handheld will survive that long!
