Joe Danger 2: The Movie Out on PSN

Indie title Joe Danger 2 The Movie is now available on PlayStation Network. It comes accompanied with a bundle for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

PlayStation 3 users can now get a copy of the indie game, much like Xbox Live Gold members back on September 14th, 2012. The title is a unique blend of both platform and racing genres, and can get quite challenging. Furthermore, European PS+ subscribers can also take advantage of the £7.99/¢9.99 bundle containing both Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2 – which is even cheaper than the sequel on its own.

I spoke with one of the programmers for the game at the Eurogamer Expo, and she was very pleasant and informative. We even got a photo together (which I originally intended for the blog until I recalled that I’m trying to remain, somewhat, anonymous). Regrettably, I’ve not had a chance to contact Hello Games since I returned home. I was hoping to do that before the game was released on PSN.

Joe Danger 2‘s development has been headed by Sean Murray, an ex-employee of Criterion Games (famous for Burnout and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit). Needless to say, the genre hybrid is in good hands — and it certainly showed during my brief hands on.

Thinking back. I wish I took the time to hop back on it….

Joe Danger 2 The Movie is available on both Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
