Groupees announces their fifth Be Mine bundle, featuring both videogames and music. The bundle contains up to six different gaming titles, depending on how much you pay. Of course, some of this goes to charity too.
The fifth Be Mine bundle, a series of bundles started by Groupees back around Valentine’s Day, consists of six different videogames. The first three are available for a minimum of $1. King’s Bounty: The Legend, NEO Scavanger, and X-Blades make the initial three.
To unlock Tropico 3, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD, and Kung Fu Strike, customers are expected to pay a minimum of $5. Considering the strength of the titles on offer, particularly Stranger’s Wrath and Tropico, it’s a pretty good deal. Each game comes to the consumer in a variety of ways, be it available on Steam to Digital Rights Management-free.
On top of that, 20% of the fee goes straight towards the charity, Mercy Corps. Founded in 1979, Mercy Corps seek, “to alleviate suffering, poverty and oppression by helping people build secure, productive and just communities.” Their funding has provided assistance following the quake in Haiti, and Japan, as two examples of previous and recent uses of their funding. Needless to say, that 20% is going towards a good cause. That being said, you don’t have to limit your donations through purchasing videogames.
